Downloads and related articles

You can attach documents to an article for download, and pick its related articles by hand. Both appear in the sidebar.

Downloadable documents

The article's "Related documents" list points at files of the Media Drive. In the sidebar every document is a download card with the title you set on the article.

You give the title on the article, not in the Media Drive, so the same file can appear under two different titles in two articles. You set the order by dragging.

The fourth file sits in a protected folder of the Media Drive. Because this public article references it, everyone can download it; if only a members' article referenced it, a guest could not reach it.

Related articles

You pick the related content by hand: in the article's editor you search for other items and add them. On the article page they appear as cards in the sidebar.

How is this different from the "Read more" band?

You pick the related articles yourself, per article. The "Read more" module at the bottom suggests the newest articles on its own and leaves out the ones already in the sidebar. The two complement each other.

In the admin, open this article under Content › Articles: below the images, the "Related documents" and "Related content" panels hold both lists.

Bylines and author profiles

An article's byline links to the author's profile. A permission decides who has a public profile, and the profile's address comes from the Authors menu item.
